Charles Bargar replied to Steve Kirkham's discussion Reinstall DoStudio V3
"I just had the same problem, and did all the steps above. However, after re-install, DOSTUDIO couldn't find IDGEDIT. Found the new version on SmartSupport, downloaded, and installed. Now works fine."

Ghost Helper replied to Steve Kirkham's discussion Reinstall DoStudio V3
"Hello Steve, Of course the installers for DSA 3.0 are still available, from the DSA Smart Support tool. Follow this path. From the Downloads TAB > archive > sony_creative_software_releases > dostudioauthoring3.0.85b.exe for example. You…"

Reinstall DoStudio V3

Hope someone can help. Have been merrily building a project in DoStudio 3. All ready to do final AACS build and this morning DoStudio 3 is telling me it is corrupted and needs reinstalling... I would do that but if you go on not so Smart Support the only version that appears to be available is V4... I don't do enough projects to justify upgrading for the seemingly small incremental changes. Is the download for versioon 3 still available anywhere?See More

Gerd Richter replied to Steve Kirkham's discussion Adobe Media Encoder compliant encodes
"Hi Steve, if your customer create the encodes with adobe media encoder CC, then they are compliant. The Adobe Media Encocer CC has Blu-ray templates for .m2v and .h264 compliant streams. When using them in DoStudio you must open the file input…"

Ghost Helper replied to Steve Kirkham's discussion FCP X XML for chapters
"Well, since you mention it is FCP X (10), maybe you/I should text these XML files to make sure. I cant say that I remember doing that lately. If you wish to attach a sample one, I will be happy to try. Or, let me know what you find. Sorry I…"

Ghost Helper replied to Steve Kirkham's discussion Adobe Media Encoder compliant encodes
"Hi Steve, I do not have much experience with Adobe Media Encoder, but the encoded video files MUST be Blu-ray compliant. Best to make sure the encoder states that it can encode to BD compliancy. If you are not sure be careful. DSA will NOT do a full…"

Peter B replied to Steve Kirkham's discussion Multi language menus
"You'd create different playlists from your assets (won't increase disc size) and assign different language menus. So, yes, they load separately and each menu/popup can have the full 16MB buffer as they're completely independent from…"

Steve Kirkham replied to Steve Kirkham's discussion Multi language menus
"That's what I figured - out of interest in the HDMV version does the menu buffer get emptied on each menu or do the load separately or some such?"

Peter B replied to Steve Kirkham's discussion Multi language menus
"In Dostudio with BD-J I don't think you can do it any other way. With HDMV it is very easy.  However, I doubt you'd run into buffer problems with three menu language "clones" unless you've gone all out with your…"
