I bought a copy of Do Studio a while back and have not use it in a long while. I need to reinstall and authorize but not sure how as Netblender is no longer in business...Any suggestions ?ThanksSee More

"I have sometimes had the same issue of a stuck compile, full and quick compile. I can sometimes help to close DSA and re-open it. If this doesn't work then try a full compile. For the full compile don't forget to click on disc information…"

compile stuck

i'm using Dostudio 1.9 on a win 7 pro Z800 machine.  Just testing with a 3min encoded with Cinevision.  When i compile, it seems like it's stuck a 75%.  Any idea ?? ThanksSee More

"I did a quick test, 25 and or 50 won't play at all on most NA player...tested on Panasonic/Sony/PS3....best solution is to reconform the pic to 23,98 and, and course, the audio also."

"Hi Anhtu,      If you have the DSA Manual or the DSE Manual installed you'll see a nice chart with all the valid framerates and resolutions.  1920x1080 29.97i, 25i, 23.98p, 24p 1440x1080 29.97i, 25i, 23.98p, 24p 1280x720…"

"According to "Blu-ray Demystified" page 6-20 that is valid for BD.  Also in the DSA manual page 189 which further states that the aspect has to be 16:9.  Also in the DSA help appendix.   As to whether it will play on NA…"

Need to author a BD from a QT file with teh following specs: 1280x720, progressive, 50fs. 1- is this a valid BD specs ??2- Will the disc play in any north america player ??? If the answer is no to either of the above question, what are your suggestions ???  Thanks  See More

"Unless they make a BDCMF from your disc, no.  You are talking about replication not duplication right?   Use the format button and then give them the contents of that folder"

"Tony,   So i just burn a BDCMF file and put it on a disc ??? Can i burn a BDCMF directly from DoStudio ??? Is there a reason why my client should not use the Bluray disc i authored to replicate ( the replication house says it was ok ). Thanks"

"No dont give it to them. they need a BDCMF file. you can supply that on a disc"
