Hi,

can anyone tell me how i config the Region Code in a DSA EX project?

I have no access to the Region-buttons in the "Disc Informations BDCMF Settings".

THX and regards

Hello Stefan,

For setting specific region codes in a EX / HDMV project you need to add code to recognize the PSR 20 of the player for each Movie Object of the project as needed.

Please review this blog post: http://netblender.ning.com/profiles/blogs/hdmv-regional-check

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

To set the Region Code for a HDMV title you will need to add the HDMV code by hand to the MovieObject you need. Read this for an example:

PSR 20 returns the region code of the player in the following 3 different forms:
0x1: Region A Player
0x2: Region B Player
0x4: Region C Player

Below are two samples of how to do HDMV Regional checks.

Sample 1 has the following:
- The disc is for Region A.
- Titles 1-3 are normal content
- Title 4 is a Title which shows a warning message for region inconsistency.
- 00999.mpls is used to show a warning message for region inconsistency.
The entry Movie Objects which are linked from the FirstPlayback Title, the TopMenu Title and other
Titles (except for Title 4) begin with the following Navigation Commands:
Move [0] {20}
And [0] 0xFF
If GPR0 != 0x1 //0x1 is Region A. Change this to 0x2 for Region B. 0x4 for Region C
JumpTitle 4

Sample 2 has the following:
- The disc is for Region A.
- 00999.mpls is used to show a warning message for region inconsistency.
The entry Movie Objects which are linked from the FirstPlayback Title, the TopMenu Title and other Titles begin with the following Navigation Commands:
Move [0] {20}
And [0] 0xFF
If GPR0 != 0x1 //0x1 is Region A. Change this to 0x2 for Region B. 0x4 for Region C
Goto 6
PlayPL 999
TerminatePL

*****You may need to follow this*********
The IF line above may need to be changed to : , "If [0] != 0x1"
I haven’t tested this for a while. you may get a syntax error if the IF line isn't written correctly.

Also, in the IG Editor Help manual see PSR 20 description.

PSR 20 is used for the Region on BD players.

Hope this helps,

Rob

Hi Rob,

THX and regards
