Blu-ray + UHD/4K + Streaming

Here's a dopey question I don't have the gear to answer... Does Adobe Media Encoder's h.264 encoder actually work? Does the Blu-ray spec files it generates (with the funky .m4v suffix) actually work and pass verifier tests if you use them on a Blu-ray?

While I'd never use it for anything important, I do occasionally need a "quick and dirty" drag-and-drop encoder for dumb stuff like static menu backgrounds and low quality bonus items. I've been using Compressor for that, but it's been getting more and more broken with each release and I'd love to get rid of it.
